DC Engagement Photos: Ray and Liz

I am so excited to share part two of Ray and Liz’s DC engagement photos with you on the blog today. If you didn’t already see the first half of their shoot at the Library of Congress make sure to check it out! For the second part of their engagement shoot we headed just in front of the Library of Congress right to the left the Capitol.

The grounds surrounding the Capitol really is a beautiful area for great lighting and great photos. I love using the different trees and using the Capitol as a background because it really makes for a nice neutral look. For Ray and Liz’s photos we did some walking around in on the lawn right in front of the Capitol and we did a bunch of different poses from formal poses to laughing to playing a little bit of tag and more. I love getting a good amount of variety in each photoshoot from formal photos to more playful ones and getting a good mix of looking at the camera and candids. What made their shoot even more iconic is definitely Ray and Liz’s outfit choices, I absolutely loved Ray’s suit paired with Liz’s dress and it made for the most chic and inner-city look. I am so excited that they still have such a beautiful vision for their wedding and their life together and I can’t wait to see it all come to life this year. It is an honor to document their love story and I couldn’t be more excited for the wedding!
