Katherine and Erwin’s garden wedding in Middleburg, Virginia was beautiful at Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast. As a photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing their special day and all the lovely moments that unfolded. The day began with Katherine and her close friends getting ready in the cozy cottage, while Erwin dressed in the Main House. The anticipation was high as they prepared for the big moment. The ceremony took place on the hill at the back of the property with breathtaking views of the mountains and sunny skies. It was quite the sight with bright and colorful florals and blooms adorning the surroundings. It was the perfect backdrop for their vows.
What made this wedding even more unique was the incorporation of meaningful traditions and the blending of American and French heritage. It added a truly personal touch to the celebration, making it all the more special. As the day progressed, I couldn’t help but notice how the colors really popped in every photograph. The floral dresses were stunning with all of their vibrant hues, adding to the overall beauty of the occasion. It was a truly vibrant wedding both in terms of the colors and the atmosphere.
One of the highlights of photographing a garden wedding in Virginia is capturing sunset photos. We were fortunate enough to witness the most gorgeous sunset, casting a warm and romantic glow with all the lush greenery and flowers. As the night wore on, the dancefloor came alive with laughter and joy. It was a celebration of love and happiness, with everyone coming together to celebrate Katherine and Erwin’s union.
