Assembly Room Baltimore Wedding: Tricia + Aaron

Tricia and Aaron had a beautiful, candlelit, Assembly Room wedding in Baltimore, Maryland and it was a day to cherish forever. It all began with Tricia getting ready in the suite at the Assembly Room. We had the most beautiful window light in the back suite to use for makeup photos and getting ready photos. Tricia wore a unique getting ready outfit which I now recommend to all my brides – a jumpsuit in your wedding colors! Since we take so many photos of brides in white on their wedding day, it can be a nice change and add a touch of edge to your wedding gallery to wear something unique the morning of. It rained for most of the day on Tricia and Aaron’s wedding day -which made for the softest light and ability to document vibrant colors.

We opted to do their First Look indoors in front of the biggest windows we could find, and it turned out to be the sweetest of First Looks I have yet to witness. We then went onto the rooftop with umbrellas for portraits and they are the. best. Rooftop makes for instantly intimate settings, great light, and just enough breeze to put motion into your wedding dress. Their ceremony was in the evening, and what I love about  Assembly Room weddings is that they make for intimate settings and the brick walls make for warm light allowing you to easily candle light the space. Aaron surprised Tricia for their First Dance song… he actually wrote it and sang it and the recorded version was played. The song captured the room, and Tricia’s reaction reminded me of why I do what I do -to preserve and cherish these special meaningful moments so that they are never forgotten.
