I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful couple, Alex and Jordan, for their maternity photos at Bear’s Den Overlook. Although I primarily focus on capturing weddings, it’s always special when I get the opportunity to document other important moments in a couple’s life. I first met Alex and Jordan when I photographed their beautiful wedding last year. Since then, I have had the joy of capturing various milestones in their journey together. This engagement session was particularly memorable.

Bear’s Den Overlook provided the perfect backdrop for this outdoor photoshoot. Located in Loudoun, Virginia, this picturesque spot showcased the beauty of nature in the area. Alex and Jordan were radiant as ever against the stunning views and natural surroundings. The photos we captured during the session highlight the love and connection between Alex and Jordan, and the excitement for baby to come! They were so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, just as they always have been.

I had a wonderful experience taking Ali’s maternity photos, especially since it’s not often that I get the chance to photograph something other than weddings. What makes it even sweeter is that Ali was my wedding planner for my own wedding day. I will forever cherish what she did for me, and now I hope to capture that same feeling for all the couples I serve. Ali, you radiate beauty, and I want to congratulate you on your little one.

This maternity session took place in McLean, Virginia, at Lewinsville Park. The location offered a perfect backdrop for the photos, with its beautiful greenery and nature-filled surroundings. Capturing the joy and excitement of a maternity shoot is always special. The love and anticipation felt during these sessions are truly magical. Ali’s shoot was no exception. From the moment I started snapping photos, her happiness and glowing beauty shone through.

There’s something incredibly captivating about capturing the miracle of new life. For Ali’s shoot, we wanted a natural and serene setting. Lewinsville Park delivered exactly that, with its lush green surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot just for Ali. As a photographer, it’s my goal to not only capture beautiful images but also make the experience enjoyable and memorable for my clients. Ali’s maternity shoot reminded me once again why I love what I do. The love and connection shared between Ali and her little one were what made this session truly special.
