Kara and Nathan’s Susannah’s Watch B&B Wedding was such a gorgeous summer day. The day started with Kara getting ready upstairs in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids, while Nathan was downstairs with all his groomsmen in one of the many rooms. What is great about Susannah’s Watch getting ready rooms is the amount of light coming in from every room. First we took candids of the groomsmen all getting their black tie tuxedos on, and then we headed upstairs as Kara was wrapping up hair and makeup. As soon as Kara was in her dress, we headed outside for the sweetest First Look under the biggest tree on the property.
At the First Look, Kara and Nathan decided to read letter’s to each other. I love how Susannah’s Watch B&B has so many nooks and areas to take photos, which allowed for a completely private and uninterrupted time together to read to one another. Followed by the First Look, we did lots of bridal party photos and bride and groom portraits just in time for the ceremony.
The ceremony was in the perfect spot for this summer wedding, right in front of the vineyards. As soon as Kara and Nathan were married we actually were able to go into the Lavender field for photos at sunset and down to the water nearby for even more photos! Their reception was filled with the most heartfelt of speeches from family and friends. The night ended under their gorgeous tent with lots of dancing and the most perfect summer breeze coming through the tent from the water.
