Trump National Golf Club Washington DC is not only a wedding venue, but it is also the perfect place to take engagement photos. I am so excited to add this engagement session to my portfolio and share it with you! This one is near and dear to me because Jordan and John are friends, and Jordan is actually an incredible wedding planner herself. Jordan and John engaged and are members of Trump National Golf Club and so it only seemed like the perfect fit for both the best location for photos and also a place that is meaningful and has history to them. We started the engagement session by actually getting a golf cart so that we could go out onto the course and find the best light. I swear anytime we have access to a golf cart at the gallery is 500 times better because we have complete control over exactly what spot we are going to take photos in, so if you were getting married at Trump this is a must do. The best thing about photos at golf clubs is actually that the greenery always looks super clean and beautiful in the background. Jordan and John are so beautiful together and make the sweetest couple that photographing them together was a breeze because they already look so perfect together without doing anything. We did lots of poses and played a few games in different spots around the course and were able to get the best photos that were both posed and playful. I love getting a good mix of classic portraits and also more fun photos that showcase your chemistry and personality as a couple. After we were done with photos Jordan and John actually treated me to the most delicious dinner, we chatted about life over the best chicken parm I have had in my entire life and a few glasses of wine. What I love about working with couples is that many of the time my work turns into a genuine friendship and relationship with them. Thank you for spending the time with me, Jordan and John, and trusting me to document your love, I am so excited for the two of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.
